Tracy Detwiler is a certified Physician Assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a graduate of Benjamin Logan High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Professions with an emphasis on Physician Assistant Studies at the Kettering College of Medical Arts. While a student there she received more than 2,000 clinical hours in both general medicine and specialty practices. As a student, she had several clinical rotations in Logan County. She then earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Nebraska. She spent the first six years of her practice in Clark County in the area of primary care serving patients of all ages. While in primary care, she developed a passion and interest in behavioral medicine. In 2012, she transitioned out of primary care and into psychiatry with an interest in both mental health and addiction medicine in the adult population and served both Logan and Champaign counties. Tracy is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She has an interest in promoting self-care and wellness, using both pharmacological and nonpharmacological means to recovery. She and her husband live in rural Champaign County with their two daughters. Tracy enjoys spending time with her family, watching OSU football and attending church.
