Kevin has been a practicing pharmacist since 1989, graduating from Ohio Northern University. Prior to that he served in the United States Air Force as a pharmacy technician, on active duty 1980 to 1984, and Air Force active reserves 1984 to 1989. Additionally, he has a master’s degree in public administration conferred in 2017. He has a long and distinguished career in community pharmacy and has been active in many facets of the profession. He served on the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy for 2 terms, serving as president in 2014. In 2014 he was awarded the Good Government award from the Ohio pharmacists association for spearheading legislation to help ensure citizens of the state receive needed medications during a declared health emergency. An educator by heart, he has served on the national front as a commissioner for the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education, and on numerous task forces for the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy and stays active. Currently, he serves as a member of the Exam Development Committee for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. His passion is in serving the community he practices in, getting to know his pharmacy patients personally and optimizing their drug therapies for health and wellness. Kevin lives in Marysville, Ohio with his wife Cheryl, and although his 3 kids are grown, he spends a lot of time spoiling the grandkids. On his off time, he spends valuable time with his family, golfing, yearly cruises, loves Star Wars and Disney World.
